Johns cant take a trick, he's missed the last few tours to England and now he's out again. Im sure a lot of English supporters wouldve been dissappointed and delighted at the same time. They wouldve enjoyed watching Johns play, like they did when he played for Warrington, but now that he's out Im sure they think theyre in with a chance.

Scott Prince must come in, otherwise Lockyer will start playing the way he was before the second test (trying to run everything when he doesn't have to, and shouldn't).

Bad news for Joey though, I really think Australia will get done this year.

Barrett will not get the 7. Bennett has said that he will not consider Barrett as there are other HALFBACKS on tour. Rumours are that he is leaning towards Prince, as both Locky and Prince have played together in SOO.

If Prince doesn't play his selection is disgraceful. Why the hell would you take a bloke who is 3rd string halfback in your eyes, when he has no utility value? If he's not next in line, Grothe, Williams or Sing should have gone.

Two years ago if someone would've told me that during the tri nations in 2005 Lockyer and Prince would be the halves combination, I would've laughed extremely hard. Lockyer hadn't played at 5/8 yet, and Prince had injury after injury and couldn't hold a first grade spot.

LOL actually im disappointed, but also happy he isnt there. He's quite obviously only half fit, if that, but gee it would have been nice to see him against the Poms at Full Fitness. Oh well, Prince will get his chance and good luck to the young fella. I bet he proves Qld were stupid for overlooking him in this years Origin. Every hard luck story has a good luck story too.

I also heard today that John's has a clause in his contract at Newie to retire from rep footy at the end of next years State of Origin. Pitty the guy won't be able to go carve up the pommies now or ever again.

If Prince is picked at halfback for the next match, this will be the first QLD halves combination in the same match since, 1998 I think?? Was Walters/Langer used when Bennett was coaching before?
