You know what? I feel a hell of a lot more comfortable about him being in there than bloody Chris Heighington. He lives here, his home is here, he's settled down here (physically and emotionally - as seen by his behaviour) and he's here for the long-term.

Heighington on the other hand is a mercenary.

Ffs.

He is a Kiwi.

Whats the point on Franchises (the removal of relegation) to promote more promising youngsters through? It would be better to sign Aussies/Kiwis on 4 year contracts. That would be McNamaras master plan.

On Chase, is this his way to get round any future Visa problems?

Also he could be the first player to play for both the Exiles and England team.

Edit: Just seen Nadera. Yes, at least this player actually plays over here. Not impressed by the Heighington call up. He is an Aussie, in Aussieland.

the guy played for the Maori against England less than a year ago...

this has Rangi Chase written all over it... gets a taste of the NRL and fails... so instead of working harder and working his way back into a NRL club he takes the easy option and goes to super league...

now the kid realises its too hard to make the Kiwis against the likes of Foran and Johnson so once again takes the easy option...

Chase is better than Foran in all aspects of the game, I read it on here so it must be true.

Plays with an average club in the SL so instead of sticking with them he signs with a big club... comes from a poor background so rather than working to become a top rugby league player he follows a path of crime...

Wait, neither of those things ever happened. Anyone who's watched him knows he plays with plenty of heart.

You won't be the last bitter kiwis supporter though, roll on.

Surprised by this. Still at least its better than the aussies cherry picking players like Uate who have played for fiji before.

Seems keen to play and stay in england so lets see how he goes. Pretty clear the RFL are determined to have the national side producing results against the kiwis and kangaroos no matter who is in the jerseys.

who says im bitter about the Kiwis??

did you not watch the NRL GF yesterday?? we have 2 of the best young halves on the planet. to partner the best 5/8 on the planet.

im more worried about the Maori's... Rangi Chase was an integral part of that set up...
