Webb had his customary shocker in every 5 or 6 matches, in between times he probably doesn't get the notice he deserves by playing extremely well.

I thought he had a terrific tri nations series, but his last game was terrible.

On the other hand, comparing to Thomas Leuluai who was shocking all series.... :roll:

What's the Kiwis' HB answer then? I've read a lot of comments from NZers on here extolling Jerome Ropati. Is he the only choice around? Marshall's a 5/8, no, but is there anyone else?

I'm not a big Webb fan in the first place and his selection for the Kiwis was farcical in the first place as well. Selections like that make me perversely happy that the Kiwis crashed and burned in this tournament, despite the fact that they have many legitimately talented players who actually are kiwis, as opposed to the webbs and caylesses of the world.
