i would just like to make a special mention to brett kearney regarding last nights game
several times when the warriors made a break he would be there scrambaling in defence.
i think it was when wairangi koopu (however you spell it) ran 90m to score still a good 15m off the pace karney was the only one to chase him.
he also did it a few other times during the night when the warriors made breaks he was there to clean up the mess for the sharkies.

just wanted to note that.

Actually his defense is why I gave him 1 point.
He chased & caught that Menering guy who got noddys first try assist for them.
He took Sione head on, one on one & decked him when it was just him & alby on the right flank & overlapped.
He was in a bit tighter last night & attracted more runners his way but overall went well.
he is very fast which is something we really need if Noddy is playing half.

Your right, he was very impressive.

In the instance after the 40-20, we had a swet of six. On the last play he pushed Bk out the way and demanded the ball. It was his kickin goal that saw us get another six.

BK's 4 kicks were quality.
Noddies 17 kicks were 75% f*cked.
his first 40/20 in 3 years?
a few with acceptable distance of around 50 metres.
5 from 5 go dead

Did anybody else notice BK take a kick for touch last night?

f**k that sh*ts me...I would rather him try a chip kick ....which might I add is this weeks latest fashion for footy players.

It was like Phil Blake was playing again on the weekend.

and the history rewriting continues

noddy regularly found space and we scored and nearly scored numerous times from his kicks

No rewriting there millers.
I think you are brainwashed about these kicks finding space.
Any body can do that, but it takes skills to get consistant high percentage of results from kicks.
example & leading piece of evidence.
90% of Noddys in goal kicks go dead.
it is the worst rate in the NRL by over 40%
He has the shortes long kick in the NRL to date, rarely able to break the 40 metre mark, whilst other team regularly break 60 metre.
Noddy kicked 17 times on Sat night & got 4 results.
BK kicked 4 times & got 3 results.

Oh & another thing I have been proved correct on is his right to left pass.
Always knew it was going to happen & it will happen again & again until he gives it away.

Noddy instructions
learn to play deeper & less at the line. You are too slow of foot & mind now to continue doing that.
learn to kick. Throw out what you know & this finding space bullshyte.
Find an extra 20 metres on your kicks & kick it straight to them if need be.
YOUR KICKING GAME IS THE sh*tTEST IN THE NRL!!!! FIX IT!!!

ps

Congratulations on your first 40/20

90% of Noddys in goal kicks go dead.

make it a gazziliion

i would love to see the source of your stats

it is the worst rate in the NRL by over 40%

again

make it a gazillion million percent

luv ya stats

i remember the ones i saw going straight to their fullback

To me, Brett Kearney looks like someone who was wandering around and unwittingly stepped out onto a stage just as the curtain goes up and an elaborate dance scene starts up around him.

He tries his best to fit in and look the part, but for the most part just looks lost.

Very much the Souths player now playing in a proper team.

The stats ae reliable Millers & look for an updated snoz line.
I don'tthink you will here "consistantly finds space" being trotted out more.
Everybody knows that it has become a meaningless statment & height is the new king.

no they are stats Millers.
There is a whole range of new kicking stats available to clubs & media.
Actually, there is a whole new range available, full stop.

I too watched the game and I do like Brett Kearney's attitude and commitment. However, he gets brushed or swatted off when he attempts tackles and there are at least 3 attempts that result in line breaks from him against the Warriors.

Show him some old footage of Michael Speechley and that's what I'd like to see from a smaller framed man in defence.

You've got to give him credit for trying tackle the 100 kg plus Warriors. His effort and commitment can never be denied.
