reefy

i'd rather judge him on millernose's criteria and let his achievements speak for themselves

take your blinkers off and realise that he hasnt achieved everything that he has through sheer luck

"Best player for the sharks?????? Not even close!!! "
he is the sharks best player by a country marathon

if they dont run on their jaw because some kid in the under 11s doesnt, maybe the busted nut example is a better one
either example works for me

i'm not above criticising players, i do it all the time, hell look at my signature
but at least you could PRETEND that youre objective!!

Well now let's go through those.

bait snapped

reeling in hard

Winning Grand Final? prestons done that now in a more even competition.
big deal.

preston oh preston

but did prestom win the award hmmm no

CC medal? If there was not a more deserving player ever of the CC than T in that GF, well, I am Millersnose. Another league injustice.

i actually agree

but kimorley had a blinder none the less

and the award still stands (BTW anderson doesnt pick the award winner)

World club challenge win? Ok throw a few pommes in as well.

record still stands

Test slection? Fulton wanted hasler & blake at half instead of Sterling. Luckily the coach had less powers then.

record still stands

MOTM awards in tests?Well he rarely lets anyone else get involved inthe match, how can they compete? They are only there do do his tackles.

you should watch the tests again kimmorley handles no more than the average halfback

this falacy you are propogating i notice some of your junior fans parroting

well done reefy

Played dominantly against johns? everyone has.

what is newcastles biggest defeat?
who was MOTM in that game?
Who broke the point scoring record for the sharks in that game?

Point scoring record? Well as general play kicker(for himself), chief hog, goal kicker, field goal kicker & allround self appointed mr"I control everything", he should be.

record still stands none the less

and against the knights not souths

Best player for the sharks?????? Not even close!!!

the dally m judges disagree with you

Dally m? it is always about the half backs.

just ask gavin miller

Character? Yeah it's a sign of toughness alright. Like my young bloke who was in under 11's who tried playing on thinking he had a tooth knocked out. Xrays later revealed his jaw & gum was split in two. Teeth were all there. Like Sattler said, you don't run on your Jaw.

well reefy you are older than i suspected

Cronulla being able to win big games without him there. Uncheck.

He is great, but cannot be injuried, it is the gamble we have taken, without him we roll snake eyes.

First Player in a i cant remember exactly but 5-10 years to get a perfect 10/10 game (vs Knights 02) from RL Week

I've had a ball giving it to all my mates, i was the only person of the 10 of us seeing im the only sharks supporter to stand behind BKs selection as AUS half, i told them he's the #2 half in the world, but all i got was sh!t from them, ive been able to stick all his MOTMs this tour right up them

cry on about Ando getting sacked.

The only trouble I ever have IQ-wise is lowering mine enough to match yours

Is that really all you've got?

i disagree, although they wernt a top 4 team, the game where we beat St George with Sully proved we can, the intense rivallry and pressure of that makes the local derby a big game

Did everyone see the SMSs in yesterday's Talkback Telegraph?

Almost everyone is getting behind Kimmorley
The man is a gun, one of the best
Johns/Kimmorley is like Stuart/Langer

Sherwin/Gower/Berrigan et al dont even compare

While I think he isnt perfect, the fact that he has room to improve is only a positive considering his awesome talents and achievements to date. Adding to that the fact he's only young, when Johns disappears because of his dodgy injuries or lack of will for the game or whatever this month's flavour of the month excuse/whinge is, I'll be glad that we've got the world's premier half playing for us and signed to a long term deal.

ok

its annoying me enough now

i know that some of you dislike each other

but really i do not see a need to personally bag another poster in every f**king thread

please - i am begging - stick to the topics being argued and do not resort to personal abuse

i disagree with reefys points of view also

but i dont need to prove myself by denigrating him personally

too many good threads have this creeping in

well said, it p!sses me off when this starts happening, all constructive talk goes and i usually stop reading
at least if we start winning next year it might stop
at the moment i think the off season has bored us to that level

There is only one struggling to keep the personals out of it. & it has little to offer. Please don't delete anything it writes.

That's a nice big juicy apple you've brought for the teacher there, Reef

No dramas Millers, I'll keep it subjective.

I think Kimmorely DID have a good year with Cronulla. Could anyone honestly say it was all his fault this year? Just shows playing for Australia, with quality players around him, he is a top halfback. Cronulla just didn't have the players this year, it WASN'T Kimmorely's fault.

By far the best player on the field in the 2nd Test and had some good moments in the 1st test, but based on his form in comparison to others vying for the no. 7 he did not warrant selection.

Gower didn't play well at all on tour, but for me was the standout player in this years NRL and should have been rewarded with the Australian number 7. Who knows how Gower would have gone, we may have lost the Ashes or we may have been won by more.

For you Sharkie fans I think the tour will have done BK the world of good and he will come back next with more confidence after his exploits thus far on tour. Although there would be a strong argument for an Australian coach with no club ties as CA would have pushed strongly for BK's selection in the hope the tour would reignite the form he has displayed in the past. Cause Gower and Orford should have been there had form solely been the basis for selection.

Anyways cya at Parra Stadium maybe you guys will keep 13 on the park next time

BTR could honestly say it: it's not a lie if you think you're telling the truth!

For me, he was our standout back and Nutley our standout forward.

Yeah I agree.
I'm a huge Peachey fan (I strongly believe he should be captain) but I didn't think he shone this year.
Noddy was definitely our best - but then the team was coached so that that would be the case.

I don't think it is coached so that that would be the case.
It's just that the way the team is coached, there is no other possibility.
Kimmorley touches the ball twice as much as any other player in the NRL during 80 minutes.
