Like Barrett would've been, yes.

Would be an excellent mentour to our young halves.

Hmm... Really hard to judge... If he isn't asking for much, and as long as it doesn't effect our changes of keeping Dugan (however good/slim they maybe) might as well try... If he sucks in the trails, etc then drop him to Souths Logan and keep him around as a coach/trainer of our younger halfs coming up from the Toyota Cup, etc.

Then get someone else to coach the poor passing game out of them and we will be set ;)

I don't think he's good enough at this stage of his career to warrant being a 1 year stop gap solution. We'd just have the same problems.

f**k the bandaid solutions

we've already got Williams, id be looking at Beau Henry or Luke Kelly as young options to put in the side next to Williams and hope one comes on to their potential.

Kelly for Melbourne was very impressive last night when their pack was going forward, good passing game, took nice options, defended stoutly and had a great long kick on him. Didnt mind taking the line on either. He can play direct or laterally which is handy to have for a side like ours

Im a bit indifferent on this one. On last years form it would be a big yes but on current form its a no.
His experience to our halves would be great but I cant see the Dogs letting him go for that reason

im not a raiders fan but i think noddy would be the best thing for the raider and would make a great halves partner to campo and would also have the cool head that campo dosent

Noddy and Campese would be great together. And given he has a good year im sure hed consider a 2nd year. 2 years is a long time in footy. And if someone better comes available then excellent.

If we could make it worth his while...

We should have enough cash to give him a solid retirement offer.

raiders need a guy like noddy.

kick chase game and direction with your pack is a huge step up from the nothing provided by campo and mc crone in terms of direction around the park

plus he has a good record in canberra

I think he would be a smart buy with his direction and control, allowing Campo space and time to do as he pleases..also the experience he has will help Campo and whoever the upcoming no.7 is...
