I hope FFMM tramples him on Sunday
Strange how he won't forget the "bite" but his ripper tackle on Caylo has been consigned to the history books.
SMH today said:FUIFUI MOIMOI should be wary - his rival front-rower in Sunday's grand final, Melbourne's Brett White says while he does not hold a grudge, neither does he forget.
The incident that White was referring to occurred in 2006 when he accused Moimoi of biting him during a game. White had pictures of a mark on his left biceps muscle, but Moimoi claimed the ''abrasion'' may have been caused by a pinching of White's armguard. The NRL judiciary took less than five minutes to clear Moimoi after hearing the hour-long case. White was unimpressed by the result but yesterday said grand final day was not the time for retribution.
''You don't forget about things like that but if you want to hold grudges, if you focus on one player like that in trying to get a square-up or something you usually lose focus on the other 16 players that are in their side and that can come back to bite you, so you don't worry so much about things like that,'' White said. ''It's about doing what works for the team, doing your job for the team.''
White was in the firing line again during Melbourne's 2007 preliminary final when he was accused of a ''ripper'' tackle that tore the pectoral muscle of Eels skipper Nathan Cayless. However, White said he spent little time reflecting on the past controversies. ''As for '07 that's past history. I think if you start thinking back you won't worry about the future and that's what we have to focus on,'' he said.
