i found that King was always an average player playing in a great team(Melbourne in their prime) chiming in at the end of set pieces, formed a great combination wth Cronkits funny that he played SOO over here but is struggling over there
i can see him coming back mayb to S14 big money in that. mclindon did the same thing and he had not a bad season playing for the reds in the S14.

In regards to Matt King, there was an interesting Q&A with him on the BBC site...

Problem I always had with Matt King is that he rarely delivered. For his body shape and size, he dosent utilize it very well. He isnt as strong as he looks, dosent have very good Rugby League brains and dosent make up for it with speed. In saying that, he would almost certainly walk into the NSW backline if he were still here.
Carney on the other hand is explosive, brilliant player. If he has the legs in him, he is wonderful to watch. A kid that plays for Canberra, Justin Carney, is almost a carbon copy of Brian Carney. Probably a little bit stronger.
When is Inglis' contract up?
