(We now know that the Magic No. of 14 teams and the Criteria was a load of crap, and was illegal thanks the Souths court case, which made both Football club administrations look like faaarken idiots! :roll: )

Mate the first decision went in favour of Souths and when it did the NRL appealed the decision and won that appeal which you fail to remember every time you post anything about the criteria ;-)

I forget it too......because it wasn't exactly front page news......and its not exactly something you want to remember when you're team is a prime candidate for being next in line to say goodbye to the NRL

And what i think Gobbs was getting at......was the fact that Souths were readmitted via the verdict of the criteria being illegal - and if the respective teams of ours had stood side by side this argument wouldn't exist.....even if it was only illegal for half a year.....it was deemed illegal and there was a window/loophole for our teams if we wanted it

but they wont kick clubs out unless theyre flat broke theyre bringing in a 16th side in a few years from the gold coast & 16 is what the magic number should have been but in saying that if they didnt cut it to 14 then the number now would be closer to 12 as sides would be broke
