LOL Matt the Ball hog Cooper, that guy is an absolute hack. Most overated centre in the game.
I would rather keep jennings and lyon than have cooper anywhere near the team.
I dont really care who wins orugin but this would be my backline if I was a selector.

1 - Jarrad Hayne
2 - Brett Morris
3 - Josh Morris
4 - Michael Jennings
5 - Jamal Idris
6 - Craig Wing /Jarrad Mullen
7 - Brett Kimmorley

Both centres did nothing wrong to harm their chances for re-selection.

Cooper (and possibly Monaghan if he isn't already selected on the wing) will only come in if either one is injured

lyon was the worst out there, followed by mc manus....
mc manus's problems were caused by the inept player inside of him.
Lyon had a shocker

Cooper should have been there in the first place. I reckon Wayne Bennett would not swap Cooper for anyone. You have your hand on it if you think Cooper cannot attack. He is one of a few remaining hole running centres left in the game.

NSW's biggest chance is to bring in Cooper to defend on Inglis.... Lyon just isn't good enough to defend him.

Absolutely.

Inglis must have danced with joy seeing the pig that didn't care was marking him.

Cooper can't pass to save a life, but the fokker can chase and tackle. Lyon looks like he's running out of breath watching Inglis.

Monas did a great job on Inglis in Origin 3 last year, Inglis even said so himself post game. I'd definitely have him or Cooper marking up on him. Probably Cooper with Monas on Falous wing, although Monas hasn't been that great under the high ball this year.

Don't know why they decided to bring in a bloke who says he doesn't even want to play in the game instead of a couple of solid incumbents.

Because, to quote Markieboy, Lyon is a myth. And some people believe in myths. Obvioulsly the NSW selectors do. So does Fatty, but then again, a one legged chimp could run out in a Manly jersey and Fatty would rate him.
The beady eyed pig that did not want to play rep should have been given his (and Greg Inglis') fondest wish. There are a lot of centres that deserve to be there more than the pig that didn't care.

whilst cooper helps plug some defensive gaps he wont do much in attack, and it's the pissweak attack which has restricted the blues chances in the past few series

not sure where people get this idea that Cooper has no attack.. everytime he has played for NSW he has been close to our best player.

18 points should be enough to win an origin game. Cooper gets plenty of tries and the winger outside him in club footy is leading tryscorer. Must be doing something right.
