It died with Little Britian, biggest tripe I've ever seen, it's like Kath and Kin on peptides.

Such an unbelievably overrated show. Can't work out why most people found this show so funny - it was just catch phrases and funny costumes (the same ones) every. single. show.

My aunty loaned me the DVDs and I could go no further than half way through the third episode of season 1. Already by then they'd used the same characters 43 million times each.

The only one that made me laugh was the psycho school teacher. Everything else was just boring. Yeah so I can't work out why this show was such a smash hit.

There have always been crap British shows. We are just lucky we haven't had to see the worst ones. But they have always existed.

Currently (or recently) there are also still some good ones. The IT Crowd, any of Ricky's shows, Peep Show, The Thick of It (although I guess it's more of a drama, sort of) and probably one or two more I can't think of.

Also Mrs Brown's is hardly a UK show. It might be a co-production but it's essentially Irish. And quite typical of Irish TV too. Not that I don't like it. I actually appreciate it for what it is.

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is on its day my favourite British comedy, f**king hilarious.
