Tell you the truth....a majority of these bands are plain garbage.....hence why they never made it overseas.
Australia's best bands imo are.
- ACDC
-Midnight Oil
- Silver Chair
- Little River Band
- Ice House
- Savage Garden ( I love to the moon and back......sounds Pink Floydish
)
These bands had the appeal & talent to make it overseas.....and before you ask....Ice House's " Great southern Land" is a well known song overseas.
BTW
Alice in Chains really only really had one massive album "Dirt"....if the singer stayed clean like Scott Weiland from STP....who knows what they could have recorded.
