3 - Crichton: Looked at origin form tonight
2 - Ikuvalu: Apart from that play the ball error, made some important catches close to our tryline under pressure and made a lot of hit-ups
1 - Hall: Was one of the highest for the Roosters in terms of metres gained. Made a lot of post-contact metres and while looking a bit shaky at times, he did well for a finals-like nrl debut after having an ACL injury. Has potential

Honourable mentions: Butcher, Cronk, Radley

3. Crichton. His best game so far. Some very strong carries.
2. Butcher. A real break out game as far as his carries go. I've always been a huge fan and he's really hitting his straps. A big part of our team now.
1. Ikuvalu. Another play the ball error but after that he was faultless. Some strong carries and safe under the high ball. We have tremendous wing depth.

Can't be too critical of that loss. They stuck to it despite possession against them and nearly came away with the result.

Missing SST for the whole 2nd half in addition to Cordner being out really hurt us IMO.

On to next week.

To be fair, Brisbane were up for it and played pretty well. We were off our game just enough and that was the difference. Sometimes things just don’t happen and as Robbo said we learn from it and move on.

My three, too. Jared in particular was lethal. A lot went against us including some home town decisions but Broncos played their best game this year.

What do we think of Radley at hooker? His service from dummy half is poor. It’s an energy sapping role that’s blunted his attack/defence as well but do we have an alternative? He’s definitely a work in progress at hooker.

His service is poor at times but he does run the ball well and create from there.

He is still learning the roll and worth persevering with IMO. Aubo or Verills are the only other options at this stage. Verills will probably start against wests as radley will no doubt be needed elsewhere so that could be interesting.
