Broncos 3 2 1s

Well for mine -

3 points: Sio Siua Taukeiaho18 runs for 211 metres with 17 tackles. Really took it to the Broncos pack and kept them on the back foot.

2 points: Luke Keary. Took control of the team when Cronk went off. Steered the team well and had 2 try assists.

1 point: James Tedesco. 21 runs for 195 metres, and a lovely swerving try to boot. Just looked so at ease in both attack and defence.

3. Taukeiaho: Dominated the broncos pack
2. Ikuvalu: had a sub par game last week, and certainly made up for it today. Well done
1: Tedesco: Superb, finds space when their is none, always looked dangerous

Honourable mentions: Aubo, Cordner, Liu, Cronk

Not sure we take too much from that win other than we put a team away who we should have beaten.

Broncos were awful

3-1 with no major injuries is a good 1st month of football. Massive month coming up with back to back away games against Cronulla and Melbourne followed by ANZAC day then a home game against wests. If we go 2-2 or even 3-1 in those 4 we are set up well.

To be honest, I had penciled this in as a loss. Don’t have a good record against Broncs plus their forwards got touched up last week and expected them to come out swinging. Still can’t believe what I saw last night. Think the broncos are better than the score suggests and they bombed at least three tries. Don’t reckon we’ll see the real Easts until late August - possibly September.

If JWH is the best prop in the comp then I reckon SST isn't too far behind. He's in career best form.

Our forwards emasculated the Broncos pack.

That really was a stroll in the park against a highly overhyped footy team coached by a snake oil salesman.
