Broncos dump Orton

Denver have decided to dump former starting qb Kyle Orton.

So for now its Tebow chance to lead the Broncos.

While I am not saying that Orton was going to lead them to Super Bowl victory. I have no doubt Tebow will not.

How do you come to that conclusion when Orton was like 1-4 and Tebow is 4-1 since with the same team, actually a Brandon Llyod less team!

Anyhow interesting where Orton ends up. He would be the ultimate backup QB in the league if your starter goes down he can keep the wins going.

Could not have come at a better time for the bears
if he makes it to them on the WW, you'd think he'll be a bear

Seattle, Browns, Jacksonville, Miami, Vikings, Cardinals, Bears, Redskins and KC... indy might be in the mix but they are going all out for suck for luck.

Niners might be surprisingly interested but given Smith's play this season, the fact they have kaepernick and the fact at 9-1 i doubt they are dumb enough to put themselves in a position where a QB controversy could derail them.

lot of QB needy teams, wont take Orton long to not only find a new club but start of them imo

I don't think he drops past KC on the WW. If the Skins have given up on their season, they won't bother as they'll draft a new one next year.

I thought maybe the Texans but that doesn't seem to have much momentum.

KC for mine.

Lands in Kansas.

I would take a shot with him and Shanahan.... but more wins means lower draft picks.

For me Denver are winning in spite of having Tebow playing qb. Call it luck, call it what ever you want, but the winning will not last

Why do you say that?

The schedule is challenging but not impossible. Chiefs, Vikings and Chargers are games they should win.

That leaves NE, Bills and Bears with two of those at home. Tough, yes, but they are winnable games.

I think the Broncos defence can keep them in every game. I watched the Patriots against KC, and they are definitely beatable. Bills are struggling and the Bears without Cutler are a far difference proposition.

Anything can happen. Broncos are by no means dead and buried in the race for the division and the playoffs.

Where have you been? Poor old Tom could have done with a tag team partner:lol:

Regardless, Orton was never going to set foot on the field again...and he was off contract at the end of the season so it makes sense to trade him.
Tebow is the best option Broncos have at winning, yes Orton is the better quarterback but he's immobile and sucks with leadership or fire...he's not a competitor.
Elway wants a QB next season anyway, so there's no room for Orton.

I'd think he'll go back to Chicago just quietly, but wherever he goes he needs an extremely tough O Line because he just crumbles otherwise.

dont need anyone else to prove you wrong, not my fault your so blind/obsessed. Tebowmaniacs like you are easily the stupidest fans in sports. All the rest of us can do is laugh at them. Sooner or later, however, this house of cards is coming down.

I feel bad for the defense, they are the ones winning these games, not mainly Tebow.

second part is partially correct we cut not traded him though i read he asked to be released due to this & Cutler's injury

thirdly he will go to the chiefs if they want him they have a higher waiver claim than the bears who are close to the end of the line, if they choose not to bears will get him i think

I agree, Tebowmaniacs are the most f**ked up sports fans ever. They aren't even Denver fans but makes their fan base look so stupid and ignorant. I don't think anyone on this board is one though, which makes me thankful.

I'm a massive Tebow fan but I've been a Broncos fan for a lot longer. I sort of get the hysteria but I think it has an overall negative effect on Tebow's persona.

I can understand why non-Tebow fans are sick of the hysteria but it's not his fault. He is trying to win football games in an unconventional way and because he is different, he is drawing a lot of interest.

Apparently he doesn't want to go to the Chiefs. He wants to go to the Bears. It was also reported the Cowboys put in a claim for Orton.

I don't think he has much choice in regards to his destination does he? He didn't clear waivers so he is not a free agent.

just looking back now broncos have had some incredible luck which is still continuing, in recent weeks we have faced

Lions without Best, Stafford plays hurt
KC without Charles
Oak without Mcfadden
NYJ without LT, Greene gets hurt early
Potentially Vikings without AP
Bears without Cutler
& now Bills without Jackson

never want to see any hurt but i hope the run of luck continues

I like our chances in every game the rest of the way.

I actually think our D will keep us in every game. They are playing lights out at the moment.

That's the issue though. A team will want him as their HC and we lose a very good DC in the process.

I could see Miami duming Sporano and making a play for Allen. Same with the Chiefs although I think McDaniels is nnext in line in KC, especially with Cassell and Orton on the books.

Why do you keep doing this? I'm not the only Tebow fan and people that are Tebow fans aren't morons, I've been following the NFL for a while, thanks and if you'll look in the archives I've actually been posting in this forum for a while.
I think it's you that needs to get over your obsessive hatred with Tebow that drives you to act immaturely with people who don't agree with you.

My post was hardly about Tebow - You think Orton posts a better chance at winning? Look at his numbers:?
