This is great, seems like we will have a strong following in 317............RAIDERS: 3:17. (I can already see Jed or Tonio making the banner right now)

Brimmer, if you are wearing your shirt inform people that there are only 5 left from this season's run of 80 to be sold (still $35, only XL and XXL). We will keep that design for at least next year as well, if not longer. If is probably best to get me on the forum by PM if anyone wants to buy one, i'm not sure how often our email address on the RA site gets checked. Should have different sizes at the start of next season as well if anyone asks.

Go hard and give the boys the best you have.
Cheers

Actually I had somebody asking me about it the other day... I'll see what I can do.

As soon as you get a medium in stock (i take it that will be next year) I will most certainly buy one. Ill be able to flog off a few more to Raiders fans up here in Brissy too.

Me and 2 mates got the last 3 seats of the front row in section 317 on Saturday. The bird at ticketek noticed I was wearing a raiders shirt and said - oh you are most certainly going to be amongst friends, to which she went on to explain that a LOT of raider fans have got tickets in our section already. WOOOOOO!!!!

We got a new flag to add to the repetoire this year too, and a few banners we'll hand out to random people in our section to make it look even better.

Its going to be mad!

For the person asking about a meet-up before the game, there are a few people planning on meeting at the cauldron bar at the Caxton im lead to believe.

It should be put in the Crusade Paullyboy. Kev who looks after the website is always really keen to plug fan-related stuff in the newsletter. Fire off the email a couple of times if necessary. :)

Calling all Brisbane based Raiders fans
Written by: Paul Purcell

This Saturday night the mighty green machine come to Brisbane to take on the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium. The organisers have been good enough to allocate Raiders fans our own section, Section 317, and we are calling on all of you to come and join us.

Thousands of Raiders fans attend matches every year, but we are often spread out and this reduces our effectiveness. By sitting together, not only will it be great fun, but the players will love it as well.

So all you Raiders fans, grab your tickets for section 317!

Cheers and see you at the game!

I'll be heading to the game, and bringing another raiders supporter! I'm quite surprised at the amount of raiders supporters that are around qld!

Something that surprises me (don't know how many others have observed this), but a lot of the Raiders gear sold on eBay comes from Qld. Is it our ties with the Qld Cup that has given us such strong support up there?

That's right Jed. Me personally, I followed the raiders pre broncos and with players like Meninga, Belcher, Box Head, Coyne and Co. coming from QLD, it was a natural selection! Jeez.. Can't wait now... Hopefully we'll do you boys proud!

Its true, we are definately in the top 3 most supported away teams in Brisbane. St George are a clear cut first, they would get close to 50% of the crowd at games up here. Cowboys are probably second although they are increasing dramatically and Canberra would be very close with the eels for third.

As was said above, a lot of it stems from the early 90's when we were winning with a host of Queensland legends in the team and its just stayed on from there.

Id love to know how many tickets are actually left in bay 317, im hoping bugger all if any.
