fmd what a ride.

I was reading a book by the Dalai Lama, and he said "Even if some anxiety occurs, as it is bound to in life, you should always be calm. Like a wave, which rises from the water and dissolves back into the water, these disturbances are very short, so they should not affect your basic mental attitude" Clearly old Dalai L isn't a Dragons fan.
I wonder whether the Dalai has ever played at 7?

I’ve said a lot already I know but just one more thing on this game….Corey Allen‘s superb tackle on their flying winger was a cracker, many other occasions this would have resulted in a soul destroying try. I like him being in the team, even though he’s not lightning, he is a real first grader.

Can I have some numbers on here of how many of us woke this morning and the first thing that came to mind was we beat the Donkeys yesterday....
I'll start it off......it's a YES from me

Yep for me.
My old ticker can't take too much of yesterday. It's the reason I have 101 on speed dial and know the "staying alive" beat for medical reasons and not cause I like the song!
😃 😀 😄

How good was that goose step from Liddle!!

How good was that tackle by Gutho on Haas??!

How good does it feel knowing BHunt may not get to win that premiership?!
Who else was certain Haas was just going to steam roll over and win the game for Broncs at the end?! A beauty.

That and the set play from the scrum were the things we want to see more of from Cook and Gutho, our leaders.

Liddle has a real presence. He stands out with his energy, purpose and clean execution.
His try and Sloan's second will definitely be on teh Dragons highlight reel at the end of the year, along with his try against the Dogs and Holmes v Tigers.

There's a big part of me that in my head is like "gee the Broncos were bad, imagine if they turned up" about this win but on the other hand it provided many great moments for us supporters and really this is what being a RL fan is all about!

The guys a smart player , what he lacks in speed is made up with knowledge of the game and knows where to be by reading the plays ......... Just me I'd ather him in the centre with Holmes , throw Suli on the wing to take hit ups ....... He never steps only runs straight so maybe wing might be ok for him ....... Because he doesn't do it for me as a centre .........

If Slone or Dufty was our fullback and not Saint Gutho. Payne Haas would have gone over for a try and would have been sitting in row AA celebrating Ala Piggy style.

Thank f**k we have Gutho !!!!

It's just a rumour I've seen posted a few times over social media. Kyle is contracted until the end of 2027 and will be in the 17 somewhere as long as Flanno is our coach. We still need a proper HB they all play like 5/8s so I would have a crack at Sexton there isn't much else on the market. Fogarty would've been great
The whispers are Sexton to the Titans and Galvin a Bulldog

Just so red v , the commentators were in the midst of saying what a tremendous try by Hass when Saint Gutho stood like the rock of Gilbrater and prevented the big sod from scoring what would had been a match winning try .

No accolades for Gutherson’s magnificent defence whatsoever and after the match all we heard were the injuries sustained by Brisbane , yet again those commentators from 9 would not give the St.George Illawarra team the praise that they so thoroughly deserved .

Kyle did nothing today to address the concerns raised about his limitations, at times he was an anchor that we somehow managed to drag over the line. If we persist with him at 6 we concede to a season of ups and mostly downs.

We also need to find a solution to the problem we have in under using Liddle as a part time player, he is one of our best players.
Surely our experiences now with Liddell is that he a standard 80 min player or a very good 50 to 60 minute one.

That forward pass that led to the Broncos first try was so far forward the player that caught it needed a Time Machine to reach it - extremely poor officiating from ref and lines person.
Well done Dragons, you rose above that dud decision and still beat them. Great character - let’s build on that.

I’ve stopped reading the comments during the game due to the trolls And negativity.

I want better then bottom half, I want top 8, then 4 then a GF…
but, one thing I’m happy about is that i see development. We are in matches, we compete, and the coach should see what we need to improve. I think we will start getting better recruits, and the young guys are coming on so fast. It’s enough to keep my interest, and get me on to blood pressure medications!
