It may sound over dramatic - but I feel betrayed by the Club.
There is nothing now to look forward to for 2017. What a shambles....I can't see this turning around soon and will likely even get worse...
Add Peter Mulholland to the list ...... got out quick smart .... he seen it coming , shambles ...
I know...I was wrong...this is a strange, new feeling, I really dont like it...WTF BennyV guaranteed this wouldn't happen!?
Media outlets are calling it the coaching coup of the decade the fact that Bennett was able to steal such a great coaching talent from under our noses...
That in a nutshell ....No brainier really...
One town team, very successful, financially well off. Opportunity to learn from the best in the business, who no doubt will retire soon and hand over the reins to you....
Or
Playing second fiddle to an arrogant loser who doesn't value you, at a club going backwards, financially reliant on NRL handouts, incompetent board and leadership....
If he seen it coming so long ago makes you think what really lies ahead ???

Yep ,I said this last year when PM left ,he couldn't wait to wash the stench off himself. Plenty on here decried him as just being greedy as they do with most who leave but i think even the most one eyed of optimists can finally see the club is headed into the toilet.

With all these influential people leaving im starting to think anyone that comes into the club just wants to run away pm..ayoub.. jd..while the like of Mcwantstoseetheclubburn
Its obvious that everyone who comes from outside the club cant wait to to around and run for the hills ... people on the forum mention "rebuilding" to do that you atleast need to pour the foundation and we haven't even done that.
The key to a rebuild is first acknowledging the areas of failure ,which for mine the club has not done, they can't because it would basically have to be an admission of guilt by most involved managing the club.
That's why Coyne and co are there, they point to this as being proactive ,whilst keeping them at arms length because they don't have any direct involvement in the management setup.
It's pretty obvious that coaching and recruitment have been beyond poor for a long time ,and before anyone points to Sims and Vaughan as a sign that recruitment has turned a corner we payed too much for em.
2017 will be a shitfight, and then you have our recruitment morons at the helm for 2018 with a gutload of players coming off contract together at 2017 completion, and all wanting a slice of extra cash available from the new larger salary cap, so nothing will change, people thinking that the extra cash in the cap will be nirvana forget it ,our recruitment genius team will manage to stump up too much cash to the wrong players ,same as they have been doing.
As COACHING goes what Coach of sane mind would want to front up to the Dragons and decimate their career.
