None of the stadiums I mentioned own their grounds either. Could it be that the Broncos are money hungry and arrogant? That could never happen could it?
Are you really that thick? Broncos games are no more expensive than the Union games that are played at Suncorp, and are actually cheaper than most Lions games. No matter what the event, Suncorp will not allow entry for anything as low as $8.

could it also be because the broncos have greater overheads at suncorp?
Suncorp aint exactly shark park, leichhardt oval, or brookvale (all great league grounds, but not exactly "modern")

Aussie,Canberra,Telstra,Energy Australia and Express Advocate stadiums are all modern and have similar overheads yet thier prices are much cheaper. I will play $76 for two tickets ever year. But as the Broncos are the only Rugby League team in town they get away with it but when the G.C come in they may have to look at thier prices.

Mate if you are happy to pay such over the top prices good luck to you. For us Sydneysiders our prices are much better!

Am I happy paying so much? No. But you're blaming Broncos management for something that they have very little control over.

If the GC were to play out of Suncorp their prices would be in the same range as Bronco tickets.

In Sydney away fans do get the $8 ticket but not to Parramatta games as far as I am aware. I thought they opted out.

STH get the $8 ticket on either the Southern or Northern terreaces at Parramatta.

I find it difficult to believe the broncos pay more for their stadium than the roosters or Bulldogs and if they do they should get a better deal! Or charge less for one week and see how many more punters turn up they will sell more beer and pies that way and create a better atmosphere and can still pay the rent!

Suncorp is a much better stadium than the SFS. As for Telstra, well they want the attendance! they have offered the rabbits a motza for them to play there!

When you buy a ticket for a Broncos game, they also include public transport to get there as there is no parking around Suncorp, so that means that if you come in by bus or train, and from as far away as the Gold Coast, it's free.

I think their prices are reasonable

I was at the Broncos V West-tigers game... I sat up near the video ref...I couldn't believe the price of tickets compared to Canberra. $76 for two tickets.

That's roughly half the price of my Raiders season ticket where I sit about ten rows back near the halfway line.

Just bought some tickets to the Broncos V Sharks game in two weeks, cost $76 for two tickets on about the 5-10m line. Easily the most expensive tickets in the NRL. No discount for being an away season ticket holder either.

Did you get tickets in the Maroon section, they are the 2nd most expensive tickets.

Why should the Broncos give away supporters a discount, the Broncos are not a charity.

Eastern stand at Ericcson used to be great value, NZ$20 (so that's more like AUS$17-18) and if you booked early enough you could get a seat right on the sideline at halfway (although I preferred the veiw about 10-15 rows back personally). If I was feeling poor I'd even buy a ticket for the North/South ends behind the dead ball line at $10 a ticket, then sneak into the Eastern stand at halftime as security never bothered to check!!!
I imagine they've put the prices up a bit since upgrading the stadium though, the western stand was $25-$35 and I imagine the eastern is the same now.
