Bronco, I have to say that the only time I ever quake in my boots is when we play your blokes.

It is only Wednesday and I feel sick

Anyway, I'm looking forward to visiting the revamped Lang Park and let's hope that all players get through the game without any injuries.

Good to see some fans still have some respect for the Broncos ability, unlike a few cocky Raiders and Warriors supporters.

The two full strength sides were very evenly matched when they met in round 6, this time I'm really not sure what to expect. Lang Park is starting to become some sort of curse and I'm wondering if Lockyers injury is worse than the QLD camp have made it out to be whether he'll be rested for this match. If he is I don't really give us a hope in hell of beating the Roosters.

At the end of the day though the NRL really shouldn't have scheduled a match of this magnitude straight after Origin 2.

On one hand I hate the broncos (my fiances fault :D ) and on the other I think they'll win... Its a moral dilemma I tells ya!!!!

Forget the moral dilema and go with the law of averages. Sandcorp Stadium is not a happy hunting ground for the Bronco's whatever shade of whine they wear and the Roosters haven't lost two in a row since Adam was a ball boy.

Seriously though, it'll be a tough one with both teams having players backing up. Roosters without Morley too.

Gee JGG, decisions - decisions. Try Roosters by 6. ;-)

Considering the Broncos have won 43 of their 59 games played there I'd say Lang Park is a VERY happy hunting ground for them.

:D better...

I'm tipping the broncos. I think they are going to put a huge performance in this weekend.

a) QLD had a shocker last night and most of the broncos players will be fired up.
b) They will try to prove that the name change of Lang park is not a jinx
c) They will try to retain their competition lead

Then again they could just crumble...

In the Roosters club - Gould is just a bit player - the real wheel is Tricky...he'll be hard on his players and will expect them to walk through walls - hmmm can i pick a draw?? no ok Roosters by 2

Frawely, Seymour and Webb have been added to the Brisbane bench. Frawely should start as Minto failed a fitness test and apparently Webcke, Civoniceva and Ikin could be rested.

Sandcorp strikes again.... :( The 64 dollar question is how many more knees will it claim before seasons end?

Congrats broncos.

They want to relay the surface before origin 3 but I don't see when they are going to get enough time to do that.

Mate, once a player like Johns gets hurt, that playing surface will be relayed with 'dial a turf' in about one day flat. I hear the Novacastrians are getting very nervous after Sandcorp claimed another two knees.

Its QLD, if Johns goes down the turf will be the best thing since sliced bread, maybe if Lockyer does a knee....

Yeah but the NRL will get involved if the media darling gets hurt.... I'd hate to see that sand trap claim any more players. They can argue the point of it not being the playing surface all they like but the numbers seem to be stacking up.

I'd hate to see another team losing the players on that paddock that we have. Really puts a dent in the hopes for the season. :(

I think people are blowing it a bit out of proportion. The Broncos players have played on it the most and as far as I know there has been no knee injuries at all. When Hodges was talking about taking them to court over his knee injury it was later proven that the surface had nothing to do with it.

I guess time will tell. I hope everyone else (even the damn broncos ;-) )comes through the next few games ok. I guess if they do, it'll just be put down to the Roosters having a team of players with dodgey knees.

Salivor, sorry, I'm pedantic... BUT.. Two lawyers contacted Justins Manager and were told to buzz off. He never considered suing. Ricky will not come out and state there is a problem with the surface either.

Having said that, there is a problem. The ground must be evaluated and improvements implemented. Yes, it is a heartache that the Roosters have sustained injuries there. But that is not why I think some sort of investigation should be undertaken. I don't like to see any player hurt and season ending injuries for any team is heartbreaking.

I hear alot of Fans saying well the Bronco's and Wayne Bennett aren't complaining, but Wayne Bennett, I feel would voice any concerns directly to Suncorp, before making a public statement.

Hey, to me this IS LANG PARK. Stuff Suncorp, I couldn't give a toss about them. I love the Stadium and want it to be something we can be proud of as Queenslanders. I will never refer to it as anything other than Lang Park. Suncorp can get stuffed.
