Or lets start honoring more past greats by putting tributes up around the stadium!!

FFS even if they put a small board similar to the "Peter Sterling Terrace" above the nuisance advertising boards on the "hills". Before anyone goes on about but there's no room etc, take a closer look cause there's plenty of space to do it!!!

you know what'd be cool - a series of plaques along the path as you walk around the back of the stadium - with a picture and a small piece of writing about each legend player .... culminating in a statue of ray and mick cronin holding up the trophy after the 86 GF when they retired

only problem with the statue and strides plaque idea is nobody will see it in a couple of years when we've backs our bags and relocated to homebush!

they don't have to make massive ones like at kogarah - something smallish that can readily be moved to somewhere around the leagues club if necessary

No, if you're a pessimist and right, you get to say I told you so. If you're wrong, you can just say 'yeah, well, I didnt want to get disappointed, so I thought worse case.'

you seemed so strongly voiced on this topic. So why not have the balls to stand up to the very people you are pointing the finger at in a more influential forum?

well if I was going to talk to someone that really matters over the ray price lounge fpr example, I sure as hell wouldn't go to the football club AGM. I'd ring a bloke from Campbelltown who has an office in Governor Macquarie Tower. ;-)

Incidently, I didnt know I had gotten stuck into the club in this thread. Oh well. And every second post? I think maybe one in 6 or 7 posts in this particular thread is from me. Oh well. Must attract a lot of attention.

I'd be disappointed if you expected anything less. ;-) And, just quietly, I'm pretty good at it.

I'd also be surprised if you took everything I said seriously, after all, I did drop a hint to my motives in the ray price thread which strides I think did pick up on
