BRL United (Brisbane Firsts/Combined Brisbane/Brisbane Capitals, whatever you call them) could even lay claim to being older than NSWRLs foundation clubs (formed in 1907 to take on the All Golds).

They have a classic logo (needs a bit of a touch up, but the core is there), i think the Q would definitely bring back the memories of the pre-Broncos days. They have a classic jersey (and unique colours for the QLD RL market)

And this is not even mentioning all of the former greats they can lay claim to. Just looking through their win in the 1984 AMCO Cup, you can recognise some names.

For a place to begin a club brand, i dont think we will ever find a better foundation...

Like freo did by choosing a working class geographically appropriate brand to differentiate it from the silver spoon Eagles a brsibane2 could go that way. Is there any dominant industry in that south/sw region of Brisbane and outer areas?

This is exactly how to create a rivalry in Brisbane. There is no traditional geographical divide in the city that a rivalry could be built on but Corporate Broncos v Working Class Somethings would be perfect.

Please don't let @Stallion know that there are old RL traditional clubs and teams outside of Sydney.

I personally dont like the idea of geographic divides (even in Sydney)...

Let the teams fight over the same school, fans, etc. If one team is lazy they should lose their fans/juniors to a more proactive team.
