It's his business and hers. Not your or mine.

We agree to disagree mate. If your club hires a "fixer" to sort out that kind of shit, it should be reported and called out. That is terrible behaviour.

If it is left to the 2 individuals to sort out amicably, then that may be a different story.

As Cartwright is in his early 20's and likely she is, in the real world both sets of parents (the supposed grandparents) should have been involved to see if a solution could be reached. Keep the baby, not keep the baby, responsibilities etc.

Not bring in a bloody fixer (cash offer), it is pretty sick indictment on professional football & young people's take on the world.

I'm not referring to the fixer.

I'm referring to the media.

She could and should have gone and got advice of her own (parents, solicitor). She would have been told that Cartwright would be liable to pay child support until the baby was 18, and at an exorbitant rate too. I don't see how she should have felt pressured to get an abortion if she didn't want to. It would have served Bryce right. He's really asking for trouble having unprotected sex with random floozies.

She said: “Bryce was trying to keep the pregnancy a secret from his family. I kept insisting that they had a right to know and he kept pushing the conversation.

“I took matters into my own hands and informed his parents about what was going on. It was then, after speaking to his mother, that I found out he was in a long-term relationship with his now-exgirlfriend Brittany Hura.

“Bryce was living this double life that his family and club were aware of, but his girlfriends had no idea about.”

What a hoe. Why did she feel the need to run to his family?

She did get a lawyer, but only after the 'Fixer' got involved.

That is bloody disgraceful - blame the girl.

Bryce has got everything going for him, but he sure is getting himself mixed up with some scrubbers.

Just maybe, she had emotional issues with carrying a child that the young father clearly didn't want. Looking for emotional support, maybe.

"I kept insisting that they had a right to know and he kept pushing the conversation."

Sounds like more along the lines of "I won't let you keep this a secret" rather than "i need support".

Don't worry about the sounds like. You have two young (early 20s) people with a major problem.

I think emotions would have been running high, both set of parents/families should have been called in to seek a solution, not a bloody fixer.
