Bryce Cartwright for N.S.W. Blues

I used to remember years ago the players who would get picked for N.S.W. because of their extraordinary talents no matter how inexperienced they were.

And yes,a few of them had debuts which were best left forgotten. But most became legends.

So I implore to the selectors in regards to Cartwright...if he runs like a Blue, and Passes like a Blue, and sets up tries like a Blue, I call Cartwright a N.S.W. Blue.

His ability to offload is non like nobody in the league. So if Daley at least puts him on the bench,he will have that Ace up his sleeve.

Nah mate we need Josh Jackson, haven't you heard? He's Origin Tough. Those 55ms he made in 71 minutes were priceless.

I rate Jackson and he'd be one of my first picked.

But Cartwright is an absolute weapon. He simply must be picked for game II.

To steal somewhat from what Gaz was suggesting I'd go...

1. Teddy
4. Bird
6. Moylan
7. Maloney
14. Cartwright

Points, points... NSW need points!

I've just seen a stat from a Gould article where NSW have only scored more than 14pts once in the laat 10 games. Once!

Also won't happen but please f**k Greg Bird, Gallen and Farah off. They're half the reason we can't score points. Get the likes of Frizzell, James and even Junior Paulo in to smash those ploddy Qld forwards like Thaiday and Myles.

What I've highlighted above in bold is the crux of N.S.W.'s problem. We've become so defense orientated,N.S.W.has forgotten how to attack.

At least bringing Cartwright in for a taste of Origin football will put him in good stead for the future.

Cartwright's skills are scintillating, but origin isn't about skill. It's about starch and grit. A steely determination to win. Something only a country boy like Jackson has. Daley is a country boy himself so he understands this.

That is atrocious.

and pearce hasn't played in all those games. boy oh boy! is that a surprise!!

any team with farah habitually strolling across the field from dummy half won't give any decent attacking players the time and room to lay on threatening moves. he'll finally pass it to Reynolds or Maloney when he realises that there's nothing on for him and the defensive line are in their face. poor old cartwright won't be able to use his skill when gillett/guerra/thaiday are already on his shoulder.

just look at wests tigers play this season when Robbie starts and when he doesn't. moses and brooks are different halves

Lol @ blaming Farah for all of NSW's failure.
Before he got selected in 2013 I think it was? we were even worse.

Funny how with Farah we've won a series, lost a series by one point and been in a deciding game for the series and admittedly getting thrashed but at the same time he wasn't even involved. Not to mention this series isn't even over yet

He won't be there next year anyway, calm ya tits

He's got more talent and ability in his little finger than Josh Jackson can ever hope to possess.
Should have been one the first players picked in game 1 this year. Type of player who could have broken game 1 open when it was crying out for someone to make a play and win a game

NSW selectors get it wrong every year. Chalk this up as another one
