It is with sadness that I pass on that Bryce died overnight.

Bryce has not been well for quite some time and his passing in many ways was
something of a relief.

I know many of you on here knew Bryce so I will post funeral details as they come
to hand.

Phantom, can you pass on to Nades if she is not already aware.

Pardon my ignorance, but who was Bryce Wakely?

I hope my lack of knowledge doesn't cause offense to those who knew him.

I'm surprised you hadn't run across him Jesbass, he has been involved in the
RL industry for many, many years.

In latter years he has worked for NZRL in many roles in Auckland. He was a player
manager, with a good eye for talent. SKD is/was one of his boys and he had a raft
of others.

He was a Match Manager for Bartercard, Rep games etc and also ran the ball boys &
girls at the Warriors.

Most of us have had run ins with him over the years but as dazza said, all forgotten
quickly.

I think it's probably fair to describe Bryce as "a grumpy old bugger". Actually, he
wasn't old....55 - too young to go and he will be missed.

I didn't know him personally, but do know of him, and know he was well respected. And way too young to go. Very sad.

Deepest sympathy to family and friends.
