Buderus and his tackle

Now I'm no specialist at deciding the grading of tackles. But in every ones honest opinion.. what does Danny get for this?

Quick question - Will the fact that he didn't have his hand in between his legs mean anything?

I'd say he's gone for this season and a week or two next year. It would have to be at least grade two, he has carry over points from the Cowboys game as well.

He's gone for at least a couple. we won't get out of this one.

I'm not gonna waste energy hoping for a miracle like joey's downgrading.

But Quigley's alright. I kind of see it in the same way as Seage filling in for Thaiday ( when Milton's in form). He won't let you down and understands the game really well.

Don't get me wrong, Danny's a big loss. But we always talk about some of these 'fringe' players that should be in the 17, but aren't. I reckon a few of ourless glamorous players are ready to step up ( like Kurt did tonight).

If simpson's out, that's a bit fu*ked too. But Abraham looks like he's ready to step up as well. He's class.

And then there's the Mullen juggernaught that doesn't look like slowing down......

He'll be gone for this season i think, plus its Danny Buderus, the judiciary love the taste of high profile meat...

If they judiciary and NRL are leniant for the sake of finals footy, then hopefully he will play in the finals.. if the Knights make it that far.

He is one of the best players in the NRL, an excitment to any game.
I know he will be suspended, but lets hope he is still available to play for the finals.. again if we make it that far :D

He was pretty upset in the change rooms, hope the bloke cheers up.

Honestly, it didn't look good, but momentum played a big part in it. He never had his hands btwn the legs, so that should count in his favour. Robertson never landed on his head either, he landed on the top part of his back (if that makes sense ....).That should also count in his favour. In saying all of that, I dare say he'll get a week or two

Hoping for a week, will probably be 2+ weeks.

Johns gone for 2 weeks a few weeks ago, now Buderus - if we do win this thing it will be a bloody good effort while missing critical players at critical times.

Buderus missed 10 tackles last night... Why couldn't that have been one. I fear he's gone for awhile, perhaps there's hope. I can see a reasonable defence in all the reasons listed, but the judiciary (rightfully) has a huge issue with spears.

SBW and Maitua had a tackle very similar not long ago and were charged Grade 2. The player landed straight on his back. Not good for bedsy :(

You know me too well Paulie :p

I hope it isn't the end of the year for him nonetheless- would be tragic to have it end like that.

Lets just say I hope Quigley didn't celebrate mad Monday to hard cause I'm pretty sure he's got a gig next week.

How long would grade 2 have him miss?

He's on the finals train-on squad so I'm sure he won't be doing that. Plus after his broken jaw ........

a lot of momentum went into him going over the top of buderus.. and i also think he has the fact that he came in for a regulation 1v1 tackle (i.e no hand between the legs) and simply lost control of the tackle.. personally i think he'll get charged and have it downgraded. not sure how long he'll get though, they could hit him with any grade really.
