Newcastle hooker Danny Buderus suffered a broken finger against South Sydney on Sunday, but said he still intended playing against Brisbane.

Bedsy has a habit of hurting his hands! Pinkey fracture would still hurt guys! And even though not used as functionally as our index finger and thumb, still need it to hold a ball and manipulate objects... it's not completely redundant!

I've had my finger basically completely cut off by an ice skate blade... pinkey I might add. Same thing as it seems Riddell (micro surgery, screws and a plate inserted). However, the use of thumb (we use it for all general hand functioning) interesting that he's going to get back out there in only a month. I had my pinkey worked on for 6 weeks with only very light handling of objects.
