Bedsy isnt the player he once was. Thats a given. He has had 3 years at Leeds and in his first year he missed most of it through injury. The 2nd year he was average with brief glimpses of he past self but this year he has stepped up a gear. He has not always been brilliant but last night in our semi final he raised the bar. He had his best game in Leeds colours and I would hazzard a guess that it was his best game in probably 6 or 7 years. He still has something there and I dont think it was a coincidence that it was his forst 80 minute game for Leeds. For the Knights i'd be happy if I knew we were getting a player back who still can play as well as most of the hookers for 26 rounds and still raise his game when it really matters.
