Since there doesn't seem to be much to talk about, let's try this. This is quite a big assignment, but there's no football to watch so use that time to do this.
Build a 53 man roster by selecting 1 player from each 32 NFL teams. For those of you not good in math, that gives you 32 players. For the remaining 21 roster spots, pick 10 from any 2009 rookies and 11 from any of the 2010 draft prospects. If you need any help with the draft prospects, go to www.NFLDraftSpot.com.
Designate your defensive scheme, and select a head coach, offensive coordinatior, and defensive coordinator.
Roster Requirements (minimum):
QB: 3
RB: 4
FB/H-Back: optional
WR: 5
TE: 2
OT: 3
OG: 3
C: 2
DE: 4
DT/NT: 3 (3-4 teams only need 2 NT's)
LB: 6 (3-4 teams 8)
CB: 4
S: 4
K: 1
P: 1
LS: 1
KR/PR: 1 (or designate atleast 1 positional player as a return man)
note: this breakdown will not fill your roster, you will have 6 or 7 spots to use at your discretion.
