Bulldogs 2007 Draw Released
The 2007 NRL draw has been released with the Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs playing away for the first two rounds before meeting the Gold Coast Titans at Telstra Stadium in round three.

Round four sets up an interesting clash when former Bulldog, and now Rabbitoh, Roy Asotasi will experience for the first time what it's like to play against the infamous Bulldogs pack. This match will be a Rabbitohs home game, but all Bulldogs Season Members will be given free entry.

In all, the Bulldogs will meet the Dragons, Rabbitohs, Warriors, Wests Tigers, Raiders and Roosters just once in the regular season, with all other teams to be played twice.

The only thing i can say about the draw which sh*ts me is the fact we have away games in both the opening and closing rounds of the season. We haven't had a home game to finish the season since 2002. Oh well, i spose it is good that we will be the first team to host the Titans in Sydney...i'm expecting roughly 30,000 crowds for up to 5 of our home games:
- rd 3: Titans
- rd 7: Tigers
- rd 11: Cowboys (if played at Suncorp)
- rd 14: Broncos
- rd 21: Eels

Too bad we don't have a home game against the Dragons as well..

cant wait!!
its a shame we play the dragons only once this year, especially away, the atmosphere both times we played them this year was great, and i was looking forward to seeing something similar to that for next season.

i'm 99% sure that the Cowboys games is being played at Suncorp on the weekend following the game. You should stay up there for the week! Thats what i'm planning to do if the game is on at Suncorp. Done it in 2005 as well...

 We all do it

Yeah by the looks of my uni timetable next year, i can miss a few classes and i have Tuesday and Thursday's off + the weekend of course.

I might fly up to the Gold Coast on Monday, 21st May after uni or Tuesday, 22nd May and stay up there till Sunday, 27th May. Get my dad to get a rental car at GC Airport, since they wont lend me one on my P plates :fist: And then he can drive up to Brissy for Wednesday Night and whenever our game is on. It's so much better accomodation at the GC rather than Brisbane.

Last time i went up in 2005 we stayed at Brisbane overnight in some dump of a hotel..but it was cheap. We didn't know what had hit us when we travelled down to stay at Jupiters Casino for the weekend  Luxury.

Better start saving

Can we do the impossible and fill Origin 1 with Blue and White? I'd say there will be alot of our fans doing the double again this time around. I'm expecting a pretty big crowd at the Suncorp game if it is actually on.

F**k that, I work in tourism... it'll be cheaper for me to drive up, then find industry rate accommodation somewhere. F**kin planes cost too much :fist:

If the Bulldogs v Cowboys game is on in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast then (like the past 2 seasons) I'll be coming down from NQ to cheer on Queensland and the Cowboys.

But why only a double? I'm planning/hoping for a quad .

Origin 1 and then that weekend there would be:

Bulldogs v Cowboys (at Suncorp?)
Broncos v Knights
Titans v Rabbitohs

:D

Only problem is those 3 games could be anywhere from Friday Night to a Monday Night (makes planning a bit difficult) and there is no guarantee that all 3 games could be scheduled for different days (but I'd be very suprised if any of those games were put on the same day).

I've already warned work that I might be missing for a week .

i think missing some of our players during origin could hurt us, but i can only hope for the best, my prediction is us finishing in 3rd position.

Last season we picked them up at a fan day which was the last week of february. If you didn't go to the fan day then they sent out in the mail a week before season kick off - from memory...
