they have dropped the SUTHERLAND

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, now that's a name. I love still having the Manly part, although I hate just being called the Eagles, reminds me too much of the Northern Eagles. #-o

Sutherland came back when they relaunched their logo, jersey and coach a couple years back, ie after Anderson went and Raper entered. Part of the club getting back to its local area.

Its now clearly printed on the logo as u can see at:

would prefer to see The Roosters called Easts again..after all our club is called Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club and bring back the old song

I've never referred to them as Sydney. But I'd say it would be a marketing ploy
