And matthew johns was involved in one aswell whats the difference , both cases were unfairly dealt with by the media

I don't doubt this statement at all. However, the bulldogs players allegedly involved, did not get sacked. They kept their jobs and continued on their merry ways.

You are right on one thing though, Gaba is a twat. haha

Unfortunately Matthew was treated like a sacrificial lamb by channel nine. I think he was stupid agreeing to stand down cause of biased journalism from Bec The mole Wilson.Unfortunately football clubs have got to be careful with these sort of things ,if no charges are laid it would be hard to sack the players without some legal ramifications.

The same could be said for the titans with Anthony Lafranchi (Charges were laid) Karmichael Hunt Darius Boyd and i cant remember the third player and also Michael Crockett of the warriors. Its not just the Bulldogs club who kept players in their ranks after serious allegations, did the cronulla players ( including Matthew Johns )get sacked nine years ago for the incident when it occured .Matthew just got targeted now cause of his stature in the game.

What really pisses me off is that how Matthew Johns lost his job at channel nine when he had done nothing illegal, when his brother who only came out bout his drug addiction cause he got caught out is still working for the same channel and got called brave for coming out . I cvonsider that a joke.

Dropped it, pretty simple. I hate these fingernail "tries" being given.

You mean like Tate's in Origin last year? ;-)

While we're on the subject, I had a closer look at the almost-try to Michael Lett in Friday night's game, and I'm a bit surprised they didn't at least have a look at it. When I slowed it down and paused it, it seemed possible that he might have got a bit of downward pressure. Hard to be sure, because Foxtel's resolution is so sh*thouse, but just thought I'd throw it out there. Not that I'm complaining, we belted them anyway, and Lett didn't seem disappointed they didn't look at it, so I'm probably imagining things. Usually they'll have a look if there's even the faintest chance the player might have got a finger to it, so it just struck me as a little strange is all.
