Apparently RLW_Mole is scooping up that Kasiano may be linked to the Dragons.

Honestly, if Kasiano goes, it's good cause it frees up our cap, and thus decreasing the number of players that would be shuffled in between NSW cup and 1st Grade.

But I'd still like him to stay. Him, Pritchard and Eastwood are the finest trio out... even though they've had a rough year this season.

To be fair, the hole team had a rough season. Making the Grand Final just goes to show that it doesn't matter how good you fair, it's a whole new ball game come finals time. I still can't believe that we eliminated the Storm and are the only club in the history of the NRL who has a 50%+ record against them (meaning we're the only club who has beaten them more than they've beaten us and we're the most successful against them)... but I digress, I know.

I would rather have Kasiano in our team than Kaufusi.

I don't like the idea of Kasiano at another team. Though he hasn't been fit since 2012.

Kasiano is like Roy Asotasi....awesome when he is fit but spends bulk time on the sidelines. If he can stay fit he is a massive weapon!

His last 2 seasons have been heavily disrupted. I'm hoping that he gets back into it next year. We are blessed to have such huge quality numbers in our forward pack, let's hope we can get good use out of them next year.

Guys,

Who here remembers me complaining about the club when we signed Reni Maitua?

If you don't, here's a little refresher:

Reni Maitua is about to sign a 2 year deal, according to 10 and 7 news. FFS first we yield, and don't bother fighting the AFL regarding our ANZ stadium match and now this? Maybe I'm jumping the gun a little here, but it already feels like Castle is failing as CEO, or that we are missing Greenberg a hell of a lot. Has the club forgotten why we released Reni to being with? Or that we released a man named Dene Halatau earlier this week? This is a major step backwards IMO.

I just think it's pretty stupid that we're taking back a player who;

(a) breached the clubs policy, and;
(b) threatened to sue the club for unfair dismissal!

Now...

I want this turd fired, and I don't ever want him associated with our club again!

I don't remember what others posted but I felt similar and do again. He's not fit in the brain to be in a mentoring role which is all that he could possibly offer.

What is Finucane's key strengths and how do you think he will go at Storm ?...
It's hard to say as he was behind one of the best forward packs in the comp, but having him on the bench behind that pack was not such a bad efforts. His strengths will be that he can play long minutes, and is a hard no-nonsense type player, the type of forward which every successful club needs. He will do well under Bellamy.

Cheers BF...I don't think he has had a real chance to shine and just hope that the expectation under Bellamy does not get to him.

He will be a good addition though..

Out-of-favour Bronco Daniel Vidot is poised to bolster Canterbury's back-line stocks by shifting to Belmore before the June 30 transfer window closes.

Vidot has been on the outer at Red Hill under coach Wayne Bennett and has spent a chunk of the season playing for the Ipswich Jets in the Queensland Cup.

The former Raiders and Dragons three-quarter almost left the Broncos in March but a transfer to South Sydney unravelled at the last moment.

The Bulldogs are keen to add depth to their back line due to injuries to key players. Star signing Brett Morris has been sidelined with a hamstring problem since the infamous Black Friday clash with the Rabbitohs, although it's hoped he will return in time to press his claims for an Origin II berth.

Chase Stanley is also in the casualty ward, giving youngster Tyrone Phillips an opportunity to make his NRL debut in the epic win over Canberra last weekend.

The Bulldogs have the bye this week and Phillips has been named for the NSW Cup team to take on the Mounties.

While Jacob Loko is also on the Dogs' books, he is still to get back to his best form after a horror run of leg injuries, prompting coach Des Hasler to scour the market for additional back-ups.

Vidot was named 18th man as part of an extended bench for Sunday's clash with his former side, Canberra. But it is likely he has played his last game for the Broncos after starting negotiations to return to Sydney and a deal with Canterbury may be done before their blockbuster clash against St George Illawarra on Monday week.

At his best, Vidot is a damaging ball runner who has scored 50 tries in 107 appearances since making his first-grade debut in 2009. The 25-year-old, who tips the scales at 105 kilograms and is 188 centimetres tall, has represented Samoa 10 times and scored a powerful try in the Pacific nation's recent 18-16 win against Tonga.

But he is struggling to get a start in Brisbane's back three after the return of Darius Boyd from injury, while Jordan Kahu and Lachlan Maranta are Bennett's first-choice wing options.

It's understood the Bulldogs are initially only prepared to offer Vidot a contract for the rest of the season. With Curtis Rona the NRL's leading try scorer, Vidot's best chance of getting a start on the flank is at the expense of the much smaller Corey Thompson.

Parramatta had hoped they too could bolster their back line before June 30 but it appears Cronulla isn't prepared to release Michael Gordon before his contract expires at the end of the season.

Earlier this month, Vidot said he held no grudges towards Bennett, saying the premiership-winning coach's criticism of his error rate was warranted.

Looks like the Vidot rumor is about to come true. Set for a mid season signing. Potentially this could be a great signing.

Not sure if any players will be forced out because of this.

Rona
Morris
Lafai
Perrett.

Vidot is a plank. Maybe Des can work on his brain and get somethign from him next year. I'd be happy for him to stay in QLD.

Bullshit, he offers more than Vidot IMO. He's a versatile and safe player as well as an awesome defender.

safe player? obviously you havent been watching him allow bombs to bounce and the other team score due to his in action.

his runs are 5 metres forward and 80 metres running across the field
