Remember what Toopi and Meli did to the Bulldogs wing in the finals last year with Vagana and El Masri? Now imagine turnstile Tonga in there instead of Vagana, and Killer running at them. I can't wait for this. Or even better, wide running Cayless and Hindmarsh steamrolling Tonga and brushing off El Masri, then just walking through whatever Patten throws at them to score. Big weaknesses out wide in that bulldogs squad, Lolesi is a shocking defender when it comes to marking up, he comes in an awful lot and turning him around for a kick will generally result in a try.

but are our backs going to see any ball with Wagon at 5/8

For Frisbee's sake!!

Everyone has freely admitted that our forwards havent made sufficent metres over the last two years, to give our backs any room. So has he, or any other half supposed to have passed much?! He filled in fine at 5/8th when required in 01, so why not give the bloke a chance before writing him off. He has spent 6 years at parra, i think for that alone he deserves a bit more respect than many of you credit him with.

It may not be perfect, but in light of our other options, when taking into consideration our opposition, and our own game plan, i personally can accept it, and hope he plays well.

That is one side I would be weary of. Ths Eels side is virtually untested and I think they would test them. I still think Parramatta will win but only if Wagon does not play 5/8.

PARRAMATTA v BULLDOGS at Telstra Stadium, tonight 7.35 Reserves Glen Hughes (hamstring) and Jamie Feeney (foot) are out of the Dogs side, with Reni Maitua coming in to make up the regulation four reserves. Flashy during the pre-season, the Bulldogs won't be taking things more cautiously tonight, according to coach Steve Folkes. "They're experienced enough to know when to use the ball and when to be more conservative," he said. "If it's wet or the opposition are up on them quickly, they'll calm it down."
