Getting a bit carried away by the 1st trial of the season aren't we. Why not be a good little boy and f**k off back to the dogs forum.

We'll see what happens regular season.

Don't get too carried away...we have made hte final for all three junior grades last two years...and won 4/6 and should have won 5/6 I believe.

So run along. Wait until end of the season and see what happens.

Put Waddell etc in there and you got buckleys.

Anyone would think they were really desperate for a win considering how quickly they raced in here to tell us all about it hey Big Mick ?....

The sentiment "big bloody deal" springs to my mind...:whistle

just to further add to this penrith rarely play the strongest aquads during trials. The reason is they start with a huge number of players first trial then cut as they go. You will see a completly different team come competion time

Apparently Penrith didn't send their SG Ball & HM sides, they sent their under 15 & 17 development squads.

Add Wade Graham,Lachlan Coote and Greg Waddell to that SG Ball side for the first few rounds and they will take some stopping.

All were in the Jersey Flegg premiership side.

What is a 15 & 17 development side? Are these players not going to be playing in the respective comps?

The development squads are for players 1 year younger than either Harold Mats (16's) or SG Ball(18's) and are not good enough to make the Junior Rep sides.

Throughout the year these two squads will play matches againt some country teams etc. With an eye for next years HM or SG Ball sides.

Neenan Simpson, Paki Afu and Alvin Matavao is all the Doggies need to pummel anyone.

Anyway, found this on the kennel...

the penrith side for the 1st half of the sg ball trial was their under 17 development team. the second penrith side in the 2nd half was their sg ball team with the exception of a few players such as greg waddell, wade graham, lachlan coote, matt wright. should be a great game if dogs and penrith field full strength sides and play each other.
