Not seen this one mentioned anywhere yet - but I see Anthony Maroon walked off the Triple M Sunday show due to incessant taunts from Hooper, Kent and Tallis (mainly Hooper this week). Every week they get into him, and whilst it’s all jovial and will be passed off as banter, you can tell it’s going to far week after week and is ALWAYS the three of them against Maroon. Maroon laid it on a line this week and specifically told them it had to end, but Hooper couldn’t help himself with more digs to impress his mates. Good on Maroon for firing back with some shots about Hooper currently not having a licence, and good on him for saying enough is enough.
Hooper and Kent also have a habit of ‘going for’ Buzz on NRL360. Now I’m far from a Buzz fan, and know he general deserves what he’s getting - infact, he’s probably owed a lot more, but from the players, not other media goons. Every week, even on the very rare occasion Buzz makes a semi decent point, they ridicule, talk over him, snide little looks and giggles to each other when he talks - it’s real playground bully stuff.
Be interesting to see if there is any consequences- I suspect there won’t be.
