Bunker bullshit, blunders and balls ups

RTS fields a kick, is tackled, the ball touches the goal line and he’s ruled in goal, drop-out
The next day Fa’alogo grounds a ball attempting to score a try, the ball is touching the dead ball line, but the ball is ruled not dead and a try is given.

There’s your difference between how top and bottom teams are refereed.
If they have to be bias, then ffs be biased in favor of the shit teams....we will all be much happier

No complaints from our game, actually thought the bunker had a good one. There were some pretty complex ones to look at and they got them all right. Sadly they all favoured Canberra though 😂

The Bunker has just called a knock-on on Lindsay Smith having the ball clearly knocked out of his hands by Kennedy having been played at, which I'm led to believe is play on?

Attacking kickers legs with force no longer 10mins? Or just a Warriors jersey thing?

I'm OK with that only being a penalty, although yes it is inconsistent.
But you watch it happen to a top talent and get the bin.
The idea is that it increase the risk of injury to the knees of the kicker, who normally happen to be a half, who in turn is normally the top paid talent, who is the top paid talent as they make the game more entertaining to watch.
Good to see Webster stepped up like he talked about doing in the off season with these bias calls.

"In respect to the play-the-ball, players will now have to make a genuine attempt to use their foot when playing the ball or risk turning over possession."

Thats as close to the ball as his foot got during that play the ball. Good enough?

Absolute biased bollocks officiating in that game and we still won by 20. That’s a nice change. And before anyone mentions Roger’s try he had a ton of momentum so I really don’t think you can take it off him.

What I want to mention again about the Bunker is some games have audio as they watch the footage and show us what they are thinking when they view angles. They need to do this in every game not just a select few.

No, but how much proof was there that Wayde scored? I didn't see a lot.

The Saab try was dodgy as f**k and they didn't look hard enough, but no issue with the DCE one. I couldn't see a toe on the line and I was looking for one

The issue I had was more how quickly both of theirs were given - it was like the bunker really had no intention to even question them.

2nd one wasn't quick, that took ages. But yes, totally agree on the Saab one. It almost felt like they went 'oops there's an issue here, better confirm it quick and move on'

I thought the Saab one took ages to confirm as well, the Egan one was about as quick as I have seen a try confirmed. RTS textbook double movement, regardless of momentum he lifted and promoted

Yeah, the Egan one went through real quick and deserved more looks. The Saab one, one particular shot looked dodgy (from the post angle?) but they never went back to it. I didn't see the RTS one as I got dragged into looking at the blood effing moon.

Haha I was doing the same with the moon and was away so wasn’t paying full attention. The Saab one I only saw a couple of times, his hand was going down the side of the ball, but did his hand actually ever come away before contact with ground ?
