You've also made 19 posts in the last two days so I daresay you would've had enough time to go and point out whatever hypocrisy you could find in my posts. Those 19 posts are mainly in response to your constant dribble. By the way what's with the stalking? Don't you have anything better to do? There's a few decent ones on this site, but most of the ones I've encountered in the flesh are absolute f**kwits who think they are the only team in the competition (following on from the attitude of the club itself in the mid 90s). They wouldn't watch a match that didn't invlove the Broncos if you paid them. And most of them hold the opinion Souths were rightly booted out and should never have been re-admitted.

It was completely illogical, because what we do doesnt directly impact what you do. Individual results are often far too isolated in a comp such as the NRL to have any true meaning. You're damn right.

But the truth is, Souths are not having a brilliant year all things considered. They're travelling ok. In fact I think they're travelling better than the Roosters because we've dropped our bundle against some terrible teams and Souths have been a little more solid on more occasions. But I just cant see 8th spot and as many wins as losses and a hard draw ahead of you to be a reason for anyone, regardless of how arrogant they are to be mouthing off about how great Souths are.

That's the logic I'm using to say why there aren't hundreds of Souths fans in here making claims on anything. Well that and the fact that you're hoping the season doesnt go to sh*t once more.

The truth is that there are about 8 pretty average teams sitting below St George-Illawarra, Souths and Sydney are 2 of them. Our draw is ridiculous, so yes we all know that we are up against it. Losing 3 games by 2 points or less might prove to be our undoing.

We aren't happy with 8-10th place finishes. We expected a top 4 finish this year and believe we have the team to be there. That is why probably why there aren't a million Souths fans around the place at the moment. On the whole we are pretty disappointed with how we are going.

As best I understand, though, the Eels subsection on this site is the major Eels forum. Souths have at least 6 (that I can immediately think of) other forums that are not connected to this site. You might get 2 or 3 people in the Souths subsection on this site but there are more than 100 on at any given time across the multitude of Souths forums that are around. This site is way, way down the list for Souths fans.

Yeah, a lot of the guys that post on those sites can't handle the two sidedness that occurs in arguments on this site.

Most are nice and cosy with the fact that if you post something like - "John Sutton is the greatest Footballer in the universe", on a couple of those sites, you'll get nothing but agreement. Then they come here and post something like that and a fan of another team will tell them they are off their rocks. Then they get all fired up and fight for about 50 posts until they finally get sick of the conflict and go back to the Souths only sites where they can be all safe and happy that everyone will agree with them again.

Imo, LU keeps you grounded and gives you a more realistic 2 sided view of the world.

I agree with your point though. A couple of those Souths only sites average out to having between 50 - 70 people reading and posting at any one time, each. Put them together and add them to here and Souths would easily have the biggest single forum on these boards. Add the other 4, less popular Souths forums and we would be the biggest by some comfortable margin. There are plenty of Souths fans online at any one time, talking about Souths. Its just that only a small percentage of them visit here.

The Dragons and Eels ones here are pretty popular but from what I've seen, they don't average out to be anywhere near 100 - 120 people online at an average time on an average day.

Like I said earlier the vast, vast majority of people on this site (and internet forums in general really) have significant mental and social issues, are immature and unintelligent, are simply around to cause trouble or a combination of all. But this site is the worst.

There are only so many times I can be told that I drink metho, use methadone, don't have a job, am of poor dental hygiene and so forth before I just give up. Case and point the unfortunate simpleton in the post immediately after yours. You ignore them but they just do not go away. If I wanted to bother with people of his mental capacity I'd go down to the pre-school that my nephew attends and talk to the two-year olds.

There is absolutely no scope for rational debate on this site at all in my experiences and most threads end up in the same manner.
