AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHA

For one champ, I'd say the Cowboys have existed for more than half of our time. More than half = a majority.

And again, though don't get me started, please tell me how Qld players are allowed to go to other clubs when we supposedly earn them?

Keep digging though... especially since I was responding to the claim that everyone is apparently jealous of Souths - and apparently we wish our clubs could be in the same situation.

I just stated the truth - I know people running the Broncos aren't world famous, but they sure as hell have got us to the top of this competition in all facets... and kept us there.

When the Cows were a rabble from 1995-2003, no one wanted to go there, even Queenslanders for the most part.

I'm not at all saying the Broncos haven't earned their success, but they are definately a very rich club with a wider junior pool than everyone else.

Both points are correct, yes or no?

yes. a tough one.

who would i rather support. the broncs or the rabbits.

well if the "at least we are a stand alone club" was trotted out against the dragons, i expect the "at least we've been around since 1908 & have won more titles" routine will be sprogged out against the horses.

Quite frankly, I'd rather win 100 spoons in a row than lose our identity and ability to add to our glorious history by merging. But hey, thats just me and if it doesn't annoy you, you might like to have a little sing. All together now...

Ohh when the Saints
(Ohh when the saints)
Go merging in
(Go merging in)
Ohh when the Saints go merging in
They'll buy a house in the Illawarra
Ohh when the Saints go merging in
Repeat.

almost every nrl club has an affiliated local brisbane club.

you have as much chance of recruiting queensland talent as queensland clubs.

bwaaaah hahahahahaha!

enjoy your spoons dickweed! how have saints lost their identity? i've yet to meet a dragons supporter who feels any less a dragon than before.

we lost what? socks?

i love the joint venture - our future is secure. i predict that the sharks will be part of the makeup at some stage to form a big southern club.

the only thing funnier than your sh*tstain of a club is the hillarious efforts your mob puts into trying to belittle the roosters. melon is the king of that particular carve up!

You people can keep missing the point, that's ok.

Noone ever said Souths were better than the Broncos...

LOL, and the only thing funnier than that post is St George Illawarra fans pretending that being merged doesn't bother them.

I lie actually, what is funnier still is St George Illawarra fans pretending the merge never happened by saying things like 'they only got the socks'!

A thow away story in a gossip page seems to have raised the ire of some.

It seems that Souths have been down for so long that some can't imagine them having even moderate success.

If you're sick of reading Souths stories already, there'll be twice as many if they start winning.

ask an illawarra fan what they got then. they know whose socks they'd rather be in. ;-)
