Are we in the business of trying to win a premiership, or are we a charity? He is a player in a position we have a lot of depth in. We have got along fine without him this season and we will the next. We just don't need him, and giving him a charity contract and keeping him in the real NRL isn't going to help his prospects any either.

I remember reading in the paper a nuber of months ago that he said he has a mortgage and a family to support, so when he comes back from the injury he is not keen to sign a low money contract.

According to this Cam himself said he wasnt keen to sign a low money contract. This is probably where alex got the information from. It also validates his 2nd statement

Ciro isn't stupid, if he wants to keep playing footy professionally he's got 2 choices, a low moeny incentive based deal as Pika said or use his Italian passport and get himself a gig in the UK

I quoted Baron because he said it would be pretty sh*tty of the Knights to cut him after being injured for most of the season. I threw the "decent contract" in because he (Cameron) has been quoted as saying he wont sign for a base contract.

It would be David Seage all over again. Showed some form got injured and never really had a 'come-back' and broke my heart when I heard him scream "no, no, no" in that tackle. Not worth the risk for ciraldo anyway.
