Just rewatched the video. Not a good look but doesn’t appear deliberate either, just careless. Proctor leaks penalties (at least he did when he played for Storm) so there’s no tactical advantage in having him injured. He is a handy player to have in the opposition team really.

Everyone bangs on about Thurston’s competitiveness, but I think Cam has him covered.
In the heat of the battle, he does not give one f**k about the welfare of any of the opposition.
That part of him gives him an edge on the majority of his opponents and is part of why he has been such a dominant player throughout his career.
