On Cam Smith - as a player he is a genius

Convincing the referees to continually see things your way is an art.
If NSW had one articulate player in their side since Mini retired, then they may have had a better run of things in Origin - but Cam knows and he is brilliant at it. It's like Einstein vs Neanderthals out there in the brain stakes tbh.

He controls the play in the middle of the field - is brilliant at getting out of danger - tackles his heart out even though he's not built for it.

I've never seen a player like him. Utter genius.

Annoying that he's a Queenslander, but knowing NSW, if he'd come from Sydney, he'd have played a third of the Origin games he has because Fulton would have said "he's not built for Origin" or some other stupid bullshit

He has my upmost respect.
