Camp Concord in defence mode

Judging by the fact our head trainer has a Cert 1 in PE from Concord TAFE, I would bet Ashleigh once handed out free SubZeros at the Establishment whilst wearing tights and she has DD tits (not that there is anything wrong with that, I bought my wife a pair just like them, but I digress).

It is good to see that all will be OK next season because no one is more disappointed than the great man, T Sheens. The upside is, that, like Eric the Eel, Mr Shines has had plenty of practice at getting used to disappointment so it must be like water off a duck's back.

9 internationals and couldn't make 8th in a 16 team comp. Laughable

This from the membership department:

Like you, we all want the team to be successful and we are all disappointed we didn’t meet expectations this year, none more so than the players and coach, especially Tim Sheens.

We are now focused on making the necessary improvements to ensure a successful year next year. In 2013 we are committed to bouncing back from a difficult season with great excitement and challenges, to become the force on the field we know we are capable of.

We understand membership is a personal decision and we respect that you have the option to choose not to renew and thank you for your support. The majority of people become members because they love the Club and want to show their support and do what they can to help the Club. Membership is about showing your passion, your loyalty and sticking with the team through the highs and lows.

While we strive to be successful every year, it is rarely the case that any Club will win every year. It is part of the journey whereby the lows along the way make the successes so much sweeter.

We look forward to your continued support through 2013!

Ashleigh

The club treat the fans like idiots. They know a shitload of us won't renew next year, I will be one of them.

My email to humphreys, will let you know if I get a response:

Hi Stephen,
*
I know that you are already campaigning for 2013 Members after our disastrous 2012 season. Instead of looking at who we have bought, why we have a coach with a record of taking us to the finals 3 out of 10 seasons, or if I am going to have to put up with Chris Lawrence in the halves and tim*moltzen*at fullback (or in the team at all)*again, i was wondering if the 2013 membership brochure will have the real issues in it, that is of course what the gym floorplan will look like?

Whoever wrote this is either borderline geniused or is a marketing/PR expert.

My reply was not so good, I was told the club had a very difficult year and as requested they would take me off their data base and not send me any membership renewal paper work. Short and sweet. I did not get the lecture on what is required to be a member of the Wests Tigers.

Maybe if the fools actually took some notice of what the majority of people are saying and flick Sheens, or give him a back office job for two years,to avoid a payout and get a new coach in who actually has a vision in tune with 2013 they would actually have people renewing their memberships

Making an arguement based on our 'nine' internationals is ridiculous. Lawrence and Galloway were given a leg up by Sheens and didn't deserve it and wouldn't have got a game under another coach. Tuquiri given a leg up by Sheens last year and played his last one before that 10 years before. Utai played one, maybe two tests six or seven years ago... Heigno a test player? That's funny...but true. Doesn't deserve to be but became a test player because of politics and not necessarily ability.

Our real internationals are Farah, Blair, Ellis and Marshall.
Is Anasta another 'test' or 'international' player?

The whole team are test players. Sheens tests them in new positions every week ;)

No love, it's the crappy lows due to dysfunctional management that make it annoying and frustrating to be supporters when we look at other clubs and see how well run they are with accountability.
To be frank, I don't like "the journey" that Mr Sheens is taking us on, it's like being a passenger in a taxi where the driver has Alzheimer's.

I picture a big old yellow school bus,but instead of Sheens driving he has opted for a monkey to drive the bus while he gives the guided tour towards the wooden spoon.

 So true.

I have not received an email from the club since the day I became a member in 2004. They have always had my current email address but nothing seems to make its way

Trying to say that test players weren't test players when they played test mayches is the ultimate in stupidity.
