Can ACT and VIC born players...

"Born" certainly - it comes down to where you played your first "senior league". From memory Tahu was born in Victoria - I know he grew up in Melbourne and Bourke before moving to Newcastle.

I think ACT is classed as NSW for origin purposes - isn't Priddis an ACT junior? As for Victoria - if a player came through the Sunbury Cougars then debuted for the Storm I doubt they'd be eligilble for Origin. But if the Storm signed them up as a teenager and sent them up to Brisbane Norths, they'd be classed as a Queenslander.

basically the players can do anything


eg adriam lam played soo for QLD even though he was born in PNG


if they are born out sid e NSW and QLD they can play for the state where they played their first senior grade game
