Congrats to Madge and Brisbane, he's proven hes a very good coach in the right circumstances.

I'll hazard a bet with anyone on here he doesnt do more then 4 seasons there though.

I put a laugh emoji on @Reflector 's post and it bothered him so much he had to write another post about it 🤣🤣🤣
Should I have replied to my own previous comment instead, that would be acceptable in your books?

I just find it odd (even a little "hilarious" as you might put it) that I posted my original comment back in August and you (evidently) didn't think anything of it until this week.

2027 is when it'll probably fizzle out. He's got the Jose Mourinho touch about him.

Yeah that's probably a fair bet. It's already paid itself off, given he delivered their first premiership in almost two decade. I reckon they might get one more before he's done. They won't be a 4-in-a-row job like Penrith, but I could absolutely see another by 2028.

Then he can come to the Warriors

It will be interesting to see his next 2-3 years at Brisbane. It’s probably a good thing for them they weren’t the best team all year, not even top 2 or 3, just had a hot run at the right time. It means there’s still plenty to improve on.

If he does end up out of Brisbane in 3/4 years he’ll be hot commodity as clubs will know what he can do. You’d want to make sure you have the right squad though. As crazy as it sounds the next team who should chase him are Melbourne.

Coaches tend to get typecast. A team that is thereabouts would do worse than hiring him. He would have gotten several of the top 8 sides close to a premiership this year considering the openness of the competition

No way. Madge is way to relaxed for the Storms

Yep, completely agree on Melbourne. There's not 17 clubs that he'd fit at, there might not even be more than 5 or 6. Having said that, one of Bellamy's great abilities is to mould a squad, to promote players, to make them the best versions of themselves etc. Yes he's intense, but he also has an intense focus on developing individuals. Madge seems to be like a guy who gets the most out of players near their peak - he didn't develop the Tigers in the time he was there (although obviously they had their club-wide issues of under-performance and lack of effort)

Would be very interesting to see him go to Melbourne. The next coach there is on an absolute hiding to nothing, in some respects, but also inherits a wonderful environment and culture of winning.

Dragons should go after Madge they have a good roster and potential as shown by their 2-0 record against this year's Grand Finalists. Madge would be able to instill the hardness and ruthless edge that's lacking in this Dragons side.

If he has a son that can play half the job is his.

I mean if every team got to play Melbourne without Hughes and Brisbane without Walsh theyd probably have a decent record against them too.
