Hey I juz downloaded the gols team editor v0.9 Beta..When i edit a player and save the changes, when i go into the game, their name isnt displayed! its just blank in the line up..how can i resolve this problem? Thanx in advance 8)

are you changing it on game that is underway(been played & saved)?

No, im changing the stats with the gols player editor thing...I wanted to change adam moggs statistics..so i did, and then i saved the changes, and added him to my line up (still through gols editor). So neway, i go into the game look at my line up, and adam moggs name is jus blank. juz has the name RE: meaning reserve player, and no name next to it..

firstly, it's Inertia's editor

secondly, this happens sometimes and i've no idea why. usually i just create a new player until it works. it's a weird one for sure.

yeah try it. sometimes it just takes a bit of fiddling to sort out. it's a strange problem that i never got to the bottom of because the data in the db files were always ok.

sort the players by playerID and check if there's a missing sequential playerID in your files.

you can't tell me every new player you create you wont display in the game.

ok, i reinstalled the game and it worked..but when i install your international patch and changed the player stats, their names went blank again :?

are you using the latest patch version? the original one had a bug inthe player listings that i fixed only this month?

r u talking about the international patch or the editor? I downloaded the international patch from ur website like a week ago, and also the player editor...

the IE patch obviously. don't really know what to suggest. We had a similar problem when creating the patch but as I said, it was resolved by overwriting the players or by just creating a new one and doing it again.
