This is like comparing Townsend, Kyle Flanagan and Daniel Holdsworth. Or Feki, Katoa and Aaron Gray.

The end result is still the same.

Nope.

Kyle. Gray. Holdsworth. Amd whoever you mentioned have never created the chances or ripped teams apart like segeyaro did.
And did consistently.

He was a guy l always wanted at our club.
Excited when the deal was done.

And then he was sat on the bench til the 65th minute.
Every single week.

He still came on and created holes. Still laid on points.
But then he obviously became disillusioned with his 15 minutes of fame each week which then became 10 minutes which is now reggies.

B1 and B2 may one day be the 2 best hookers we have ever produced .......but at the moment - on their best days - they dont possess the skills segeyaro has.
And thats combined.

Going to suncorp with an understrength team we needed some hard heads.
We needed points.
We needed established first graders.

Lewie said it perfectly.

Boys against men. Literally.

I think you're being very selective with your opinion of seg but.. that's your opinion and fair enough we've all got one.

Personally, i thought he was a gun player a while back too. Running game was superb and smashed everything that ran at him, we didn't see that sort of defence here possibly because of a lack of confidence in the arm he broke (twice?). But he was a shell of the player despite the low minutes, his passing was abysmal and the options he took weren't great.
But I'm sure i could put a 3 minute clip on YouTube of him and make him look great too despite this because it'd only show the good bits.

He wouldn't have made an iota of difference to that game tonight either, I'm assuming his match fitness would be pretty low (wouldn't have looked out of place with the rest of them tonight)

As for the Braileys, my criticism of Jayden pre-dates my time on this forum but i can't say he has impressed me greatly. He's been solid at best and i think his defensive stats lie somewhat as well as a lot of the time he'd just get taken for a ride by the ball carrier till he got help but obviously gets credited for the tackle then getting pushed off by michael bloody lichaa for a try last year. Looks better this season but the jury's still out for me.
Blayke, i hadn't seen till this season as i don't watch lower grades so i haven't formed an opinion of yet except for thinking he seems way to small to be a forward.

I dunno if you'd hold this opinion if you've seen thisbyears version of Seg...he looked lazy, disinterested and sloppy for the Jets last week. Half arsed passes to no one, invisible in defence, not running from dummy half. I think jaydens been very good for a couple years now, Brayden is a year or too off and tiny...

True lm basing selecting Seggy on nrl form.
And not the 15 mins flanno gave him.

I havent seen him for newtown - but lm prepared to believe that's a standard he struggles to get up for.
Whilst l dont agree with that attitude l would reserve judgement that the guy's a bum til l saw what he could do in a starting position in firsts.

Pretty sure he wouldnt go missing in defence or throw it to neville nobody based on what we've see previously.

Frenzy.

Didn't Ronaldo take the 30th spot anyway?

Don't think so

This was the NRL official squad as at March 4th. Seggy was in the Official Squad at that time. Then they got told to shed a player before June 30th so Seggy could come in. Ava then left so the door opened. Now Francis has been elevated so back to 29.

Who knows what's going on with all the salary cap shit to navigate?

Can't see LumeLume or Gray getting a run anytime soon yet they are listed as in the squad. Presumably Gray, at least, already had his contract registered. Maybe Lumies was as well. Soggy's contract was not registered.

Remembering the Sharks have to operate at $353,000 under for this and next it's hard to see now where Seggy fits in.

Ducks. Drakes. Clear mud. Flying pigs. Sibylline.

As a avid Newtown supporter, he has been below par. In saying that, Jets are going below par.
I like the bloke but to say he isn’t standing up for the Jets as it is beneath him, well you would think it has to be better than making coffee and he should be putting in to get some solid chatter about his worth.
Wait and see
