Can The Tigers Win The World Club Challenge

I'd pick the UK side because the game is played BEFORE the Australian pre season and its played as a lead in to the SL season (Its one week before their first around and by then they have played a number of games).

You also have to factor in the disrupted preperation for the game......

To be honest,l its not worth the hassle for the Australian clubs.

They should alternate between here and there every year.

But I think they have it for another few years.

Do Mt Albert (NZ Champs) get a shot, or is this WCC for English and Aussie teams only?

They should come over here and play.

I think Im right in staying that a British team (SL or Test side) has left UK shores once in the last five years.

That was the 2002 mid season Test match. You know, the one that saw Australia delare just before drinks on the first day. :D

LOL.

I suppose they know they'd get belted.

The London Broncos (or was it Widnes?) came out a few years ago and played a pre-season trial match against the Wests Tigers.

I think it was in 2004.

Does that count?

Widnes also played in the 2004 World Sevens competition.

You mean the Tigers who will have already been back in training for the previous few months aren't capable of playing a serious game?

Home ground advantage can't be discounted by any means, however the Australian side never seems to have a problem over there.

Wigan played the Tigers in some trials a few years back..

If Benji plays the Tigers will win.

A few months training is no match for genuine match practice.

If the tigpies are to take it seriously, they'll arrange match practice.
