Can we get an NHL thread going here?

This season is shaping up to be a really exciting one:
Avs - My team! Joey is his brilliant self (man, you should have seen his shootout move against Guigerre), guys like Wolski and Stastny are playing well, some poor defense (by our mostly inexperienced core and the too old and slow Patrice Brisebois) and inconsistent goaltending (from both Theodore and Budaj) has really let us down.

Penguins - Amazing, if they can keep the axis of Staal/Malkin/Crosby/Fleury together, they will be contenders for many years to come.

Detroit - Hasek is far too old to be the brilliant goaltender they were hoping for, Zetterberg is not doing as well as normal, and there's a big Stevie Y-sized hole in the team.

Philly - Man...dissapointing. With all the talent in their team they really shouldn't be as bad as they are.

This is their second post-lockout season Ridders, now there's a salary cap and stuff.

As for the thread, let's just see how I did with my observations:

Still true, and what will probably keep us out of the playoffs.

Yup.

Damn, was wrong about that one. Helps having two Cyborgs in defence though.
Zetterberg is not doing as well as normal
Ouch.

Man, guess I hate Detroit too much to be objective about them.

Philly - Man...dissappointing. With all the talent in their team they really shouldn't be as bad as they are.

Still true
