And when all the dust had settled, Raiders were still top of the ladder...

With 2 more wins than the distantly next best teams... Dogs have fiddled themselves into a shaky mess ... and the 'riff just not a top 4 team...

If we finish minor premiers I think we're a good chance of beating the Warriors, we have a good record against the Storm in recent finals but wouldn't bet huge money on us beating them. I wouldn't be confident against Panthers or Bulldogs. I don't want to play Brisbane either.

Agreed, Wahs are in free fall... its gonna be the Sharks or Panthers in 4th spot
Probably the panthers because... well of course it'll be them...

Would be pretty pumped for that week 1 match up - Raiders vs Panthers, though id prefer to avoid them until it's a true knock out game because the dynasty is going to end at some point, be it this year, or next or whenever... at some point a team is going to knock the panthers out and end the dynasty... and maybe that happens in a GF so of course the team that does it wins the GF... but i also think the team that finally does it, if thats in a prelim, the confidence gained from ending that dynasty, of being the team to finally kill Michael Myers... that could be the rocket fuel that helps carry an unlikely team like the Raiders to a premiership

I like the current Raiders players (Young is a complete scumbag deadshit but he's a good player) and I like Raiders fans but f**k me I couldn't handle Ricky actually winning a comp through his own work. That 2002 premiership was all Gus and Freddy.

a lot of jealousy out of Sydney and QLD towards Ricky Stuart, has been since the early 90s. Stuart is the only NSW halfback to win 3 origin series in a row, not even Johns could achieve that. People from Sydney can't stand it. He had the wood over Langer too... Queenslanders foam at the mouth if you dare say Stuart is better than Langer but head to head in Origin its 4 -1 series wins to Stuart.

I would say that Penrith week 1 and Bulldogs week 3 would be the best we can hope for now the Warriors are sliding out. I'm a staunch Warriors fan for the next few weeks lol.

Although the Storm are also coming to get the MP.

Nah, It's pretty much all because Ricky is a knob of the highest order. His redeeming feature is he is entertaining. Cant dispute his playing ability though, he was 2nd top shelf only behind Joey and Nathan. I'd have him higher but he could only manage back to back in a very stacked side.
